This movie stars Kirk Douglas and Lana Turner and several other wonderful actors. The movie was introduced and discussed by and with Robert Osborne and Cheryl Crane. Ms. Crane has a book out about her mother, Lana Turner. According to Ms. Crane, her mother had a great sense of humor. She also said that Lana Turner said this is the first film where she had both a great script and great costumes.
I have seen this movie on television several times and it certainly shows how rough it can be in Hollywood. This movie won five Oscars--including one for Gloria Graham as best supporting actress.
It is an excellent movie and any classic movie fan should watch it.
