Julie Sommars was born on April 15, 1942 in Fremont, Nebraska. She grew up in the midwest and won awards for her oratory skills. She is married to her fourth husband and they have three children. The role she would be best remembered for is as the prosecutor/girlfriend on Matlock. I enjoyed her character and the show. When she was younger she appeared in a number of shows like Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and one of my all time favorites, Perry Mason.
