This afternoon I saw another Hitchcock film--Sabatuer, starring Robert Cummings. The plot is similar to some of his other films where a man is falsely accused of a crime and must find out what is behind it to save himself.
Leonard Maltin introduced the film and afterward, interviewed Norman Lloyd, who was one of the antagonists. Lloyd ended up falling from the top of the Statue of Liberty. Lloyd is now 95 years old and is still acting. He has some interesting views on current movies, which most of the audience seemed to agree with. He feels that many of the new directors are more in love with the equipment than the story.
